An accomplished pilot who gave his life on an historic day; flew as a commercial airline pilot for 10 years with American Airlines, previously for US Airways and as a corporate pilot; born in Morocco, grew up in Paris and Arlington; attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla.; died at the hands of terrorists during attack on plane that crashed into the Pentagon.
